🎯 Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Quality Assurance (QA) to lead and strengthen our end-to-end quality systems. The role involves driving quality excellence across procurement, processing, warehousing, and distribution while ensuring adherence to regulatory and industry standards.

You will play a key role in building scalable processes, improving operational efficiency, and maintaining high product quality in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Implement, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS)
Ensure compliance with regulatory and certification standards such as FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and GMP
Plan and conduct internal and external audits across facilities
Evaluate and onboard vendors based on quality benchmarks
Monitor vendor performance and conduct periodic quality audits
Oversee incoming raw material inspections and approvals
Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA)
Maintain complaint logs and ensure closure within defined timelines
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Identify gaps in processes and implement corrective measures
Standardize processes across multiple locations
Define, track, and report key quality KPIs
Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to management
Prepare regular reports on quality performance and compliance status
Lead and mentor the QA team across locations
Conduct SOP training sessions and ensure adherence to quality protocols
Promote a strong quality culture within the organization

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

Mandatory Requirements

4–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance / Quality Control
(Food, FMCG, Agri, or HoReCa industry preferred)
Strong experience in audits, regulatory compliance, and vendor quality management
In-depth knowledge of QMS, HACCP, ISO standards
Willingness to travel between Bangalore and Rai locations
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or above)
Prior experience in a startup or multi-location operational environment
