Job Summary
RAW POPS is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Assurance Officer to ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the production process. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting inspections, monitoring quality systems, maintaining documentation, investigating quality issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to ensure consistent product excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine quality, hygiene, and GMP inspections across production and processing areas.
- Monitor compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare quality reports and maintain accurate QA documentation and records.
- Investigate quality deviations, customer complaints, and non-conformities, recommending effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Coordinate with Production and Operations teams to ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Verify adherence to SOPs, HACCP, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
- Support internal audits, external audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Food Science, Food Technology, Quality Management, or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and quality management systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication, reporting, and documentation abilities.
- Valid Kuwait driving license (preferred).
