About the Company

As part of its continued growth, Shyam-G is looking for an experienced Quality Head to lead and strengthen its Quality Assurance and Food Safety functions.
Position: Quality Head
Industry: Namkeen & Snacks Manufacturing
Location: Hisar, Haryana
Experience: 5+ Years (Mandatory experience in the Namkeen/Snacks Industry)
Qualification: Master's Degree in Food Technology
Salary: Competitive (Best in the Industry)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) departments.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve Food Safety and Quality Management Systems.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, GHP, ISO 22000, and other applicable food safety standards.
- Monitor product quality from raw material procurement through finished goods.
- Establish quality control procedures for potato chips, namkeen, and other snack products.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce customer complaints, and minimize process deviations.
- Conduct internal audits, vendor quality assessments, and regulatory inspections.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA implementation, and quality improvement projects.
- Train and mentor production and quality teams on food safety and quality best practices.
- Coordinate with Production, R&D, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams to maintain consistent product quality.
Candidate Requirements
- Master's degree in Food Technology.
- Minimum 05 years of relevant experience in the Namkeen/Snacks Manufacturing Industry.
- Hands-on experience with Potato Chips and Namkeen production is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and quality systems.
- Proven leadership experience in managing QA/QC teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
